Yes, we're serious! Most podiums are movable, but not all may be moved easily. You need a portable podium that you can transport easily and which provides more than just a place to put your notes. Our folding table top podiums (e.g. The ProPresenter™ and the ProLapdesk™) and folding lecterns (e.g. The ProLectern™) stand out from the competition because they offer outstanding convenience as well as features & benefits that will help make your presentation look flawless and professional. Many portable podiums are on wheels, but they are not suitable to load into a car and move out of a building.

Our lightweight, aluminum, foldable portable podiums are exceptionally easy to move when walking to another building or loading into a vehicle. Additionally, their one-piece configuration make them fast to erect. In contrast, portable wood podiums are often heavy, and even those that become compact for traveling usually transform into bulky cases. Portable wood podiums can be $300-$500 or more depending on the wood and the podium's features. Add a regular briefcase, a computer and other items to your presentation and you will be struggling to get everything to your destination without returning to your vehicle multiple times. Wood can also scratch or become nicked. Wood portable podiums traditionally separate into pieces so you must arrive early to reassemble your podium. Wouldn’t you rather spend that time organizing your materials or reviewing them?

Less expensive wood style movable podiums are made out of veneer or particle board. These podiums are lighter, but unfortunately traveling can damage them. Often they do not have warranties and can become warped from liquids, peel or even chip. The podium you stand behind reflects your image so you want a podium that is durable and attractive. Our sturdy aluminum portable podiums can withstand the rigors of travel and wipe off easily without permanent damage from liquids. Our standard weatherized finish allows our podiums to be used anywhere, even outdoors. Some of our clients have even used them at the beach with excellent results. Small tabletop acrylic podiums are likely to scratch if you move them excessively. They do not conveniently fold so they take up space when transporting and storing them. They are also transparent so your props must be in plain view. Unlike our aluminum podiums, they do not have beverage holders so you need to put a beverage on a shelf or the podium top.

Plastic podiums are lighter than glass or acrylic podiums. They are available in different colors. Tabletop plastic podiums are lightweight, but they may not fold for easy storage. If you need more than one plastic podium, they can become difficult to store. Our patent pending aluminum table top podiums are thin enough that you can store many podiums in a limited amount of space.
